SUMMER LEAGUES
ATTENTION: New Team Registration Process for Summer Leagues
1. Please submit only ONE registration form PER TEAM, with your team captain as the Contact Person and fill in the Player fields with your full lineup.
2. If you have a missing player in your lineup you may type TBD or "Need help finding another player." (We are not able to guarantee player placements.)
3. Pay your Team Registration fee. This is a small, per team fee that is new this year. (Some leagues will not require a registration fee) Registration is not accepted without payment and this fee is non-refundable for any teams who no call, no show for the league.
4. Submit your form. You will receive on-screen and further email confirmation.

Please note: Sport Shootout and High School Three Throw are individual bowler registrations. Wednesday Seniors and Senior Drop-ins may register as a team or individual.

New League Bowler FAQ's

Do I have to be a good bowler?
Many of our leagues are recreational in nature and beginning skill levels are welcome.

What if I don't have an average?
New bowlers will establish an average the very first week of league. This average will determine your individual and/or team handicap. Handicap is the "pins" added to your game or series score to even the difference between yourself or your team and the opposing team. An example of a league individual handicap rule would be 90% of the difference between your average and 200. That figure would be added to your team for each game you bowl.

What if I don't have a team, but I am interested in joining a league?
We will work to introduce you to teams with openings for the leagues that you are interested in joining or have availability for. A spot isn't guranteed, but we try our best.

What does USBC Sanction mean?
Most of our summer leagues are NOT USBC sanctioned and in these leagues you will not have to join the USBC or pay additional fees. USBC is the governing body of bowling, so if a league IS USBC sanctioned, this means they follow the rules and regulations for the sport of bowling put forth by the USBC, and you will need to individually join as a member of the USBC in order to bowl in a sanctioned league. Adult sanction fees for the 2024-25 season are $27.00 per person. This is a yearly fee in addition to the weekly fees you are responsible for when joining a league.

What if I miss a week of league? Do I still owe the weekly fees?
Yes. League members are expected to pay for every week of league, regardless of whether they were present or not. So, if your league bowls 10 weeks, you will be responsible for paying for 10 weeks of bowling by the end of the league season. It is also traditionally expected that if you ask someone to substitute for you when you are gone, you still pay for them to bowl. However, some teams carry more members on their roster than the legal lineup and rotate who plays each week. It is generally agreed upon on these teams that whomever is bowling that night is responsible for the weekly fee.
