Meet the New Brunswick Pro Lanes at Hollywood!
We’ve been busy installing new lanes, masking units and automatic bumpers since the league season ended. If you’ve been in Hollywood recently or you’re our fan on Facebook, you’ve probably seen the changes as they've taken place. We’ve received many great compliments on the new look and we appreciate that! Thanks for choosing 48 Bowl centers when you go bowling in Lincoln, NE.
The old Brunswick Anvilanes served our customers well and delivered many honor scores and house records. We hope you welcome the new Brunswick Pro Lane surface, which will surely give you give you many more opportunities to beat your personal best, increase your average, and maybe win a league championship.
Here’s the differences & similarities you may notice between the old lanes and the new lanes:
- Pro Lanes will have a higher coefficient of friction in the backends, and as a result, when your ball comes out of the oil, you may notice it hooking more.
- Pro Lanes dots and arrows align, all the way through the back of the approach. (Our old approaches did not have the outermost dot on the left and right side. This would often confuse new and beginning bowlers in their setup.)
- Every fifth board is outlined on Pro Lanes, making it easy to follow your target down the lane, determine your bowling ball’s hook power, and count boards so that you may consistently hit the pocket.
- Pro Lanes have down-lane markings as well, so that you can easily envision the correct cross-lane ball paths for shooting your corner pins.
- Our new approaches will have a much more consistent sliding surface, from gutter to gutter, so that you are steady and balanced on your feet
We hope to see you in our centers this summer, to practice, maintain, and sharpen your game before fall leagues begin. Remember, your 48 Bowl Priority Cards are valid through August 31st.
